Arresting and colorful stripes paired with a romantic modern digital art print and bright vintage Indian embroidery. The bodice of this coat is a magenta purple and teal stripe weave of silk and cotton - and those fantastic hand-embroidered cuffs add the perfect touch of vintage with the modern upcycled fabrics.
The bodice is fully lined in teal synsilk. The lower half of this coat is a festive digital print of kaleidoscope imagery of soft floral background print, vertical paisley design, and beautiful magenta leaves and vines. It has a very painterly and bohemian feel. The skirt fabric is a sumptuous synsilk/rayon blend with a lot of movement. Six smooth purple buttons ensure closure against the chill. Size Med-LG with 43" chest.
Lola is pictured wearing a jewel encrusted brass hamsa beaded necklace, two statement rings: one in amber, another in ruby and blue-green Peruvian opals, and iridescent bee acrylic earrings. All these gorgeous pieces are sold separately.
Andrea conceived of this upcycled coat in the spring of 2023 when she was in India.
